Reading non-fiction books has always been my favorite pastime. I have read hundreds of non-fiction books and I will still find a new one to explore. I definitely hate people who just mug them up. I take my time to go through every single line, word by word. An overall summary helps me understand the bigger picture so I take less time to get to the bits and pieces.
Today, I want to talk to all the reading enthusiasts about my Headway app review. This book summary app has 15-minute summaries that you can go through before making up your mind to read the non-fiction bestseller. Sometimes, a non-fiction book looks interesting on the outside, but on the inside, it has content that does not serve any purpose. So, that’s where you need a highly rated book summary app by your side.
I also had a subscription to Blinkist before. I was approached by Headway to get a glimpse of what they have in store, and now I know what it is like. The concept of this non-fiction book summary app is exciting. The book summary app offers a 10 page summary for a 300 to 500 page non-fiction book.
The Pros:
- Good Non-Fiction Book Summaries: I am always reading one or the other book, and Headway is a life-saver. In a couple of minutes, I can get a glimpse of what’s inside the book. A massive book pile does not seem that massive when you know your way to finish it off quickly with Headway’s help.
- Option For Audio: It is surely a brain workout but I spend 5 minutes of my day listening to the book summary audios on the Headway App daily. It has made my life easier. I can finish off that 500 page non-fiction book a lot faster than expected. I can easily commute listening to non-fiction book summaries and even perform time-consuming household chores.
- Syncs Well: I can pick up a non-fiction book from where I last left it off on a different device. It saves me all the hassle of finding where I left off previously.
- Book Collections: The book collections on the Headway app like “Non-fiction Classics,” and “Best Reads Of 2024,” made my reading experience more enjoyable.
- Streaks: The Headway app helped me stay in the loop with my reading habits because of the Streaks feature.
The Cons:
- Needs Notes: I read many books in a short period of time. This is why I want a notes feature to help me keep the notes so I don’t forget what’s in the book. The Headway app doesn’t offer this feature but I would love to have it.
No Landscape Mode: I use my laptop in landscape mode because I already have my keyboard attached. Every time I need to flip my iPad just to use the Headway app. So, a landscape mode could help me do my normal work and read in between.
